Winter on Mackinac Island is probably different than anything you have ever experienced! It can take a little while to adjust to the winter on the island, but once you do, you love it with all your heart! This year on February 1st and March 7th, there is an awesome experience happening - the Fort Mackinac Turtle Trek! The temperatures have dropped drastically since Labor Day, with the highs in the 60s during the day and it getting down to the low 50s / high 40s at night! We are hoping for an Indian summer. It’s so fun to come to Mackinac Island and bike around the 8.2 M-185 loop. But have you ever ventured off the well-beaten path to find something inside the island?
