Another season on Mackinac is here!  We are SO excited!
Here are a few of our favorite things to do in the Spring on Mackinac:
Bike Around the Island: You can never bike around Mackinac Island too many times! This is one of our favorite things to do, and we would do it every single day if possible! It’s so fun when you have time for a leisurely bike ride and are able to make many stops! We love to stop at Arch Rock, British Landing, Devil’s Kitchen and anywhere else that we find along the way!
Visit Fort Mackinac: Fort Mackinac has 14 historical structures located in this amazing state park. If you’ve never taken the time to Visit Fort Mackinac, make sure you do! It hold some rich history for our state and our nation.
Watch the Sunset at Fort Holmes: This is the highest point on the island and definitely a spot to check out. Like we said, it is the highest point, so it does take some muscle work on the bike to pedal up there. But it is 100% worth the view! If you stay for a while after sunset, you will be able to see some of the most beautiful stars!
Visit Arch Rock: Head over to Arch Rock to see the beautiful water and the incredible views. We love all the blues and greens that can be seen in the beautiful sunlight.
Hike or Bike Leslie Avenue: Leslie Avenue is one of our favorite trails on the Island! It is right off of Arch Rock and winds all the way down to the Mackinac Island Airport. It is the perfect trail to hike or walk and has lovely views the entire time! If you’ve never been down Leslie Avenue, make sure to add this to your list of things to do next time you visit!
These are some of our Spring favorites on Mackinac! We hope that when you make the trip you can visit some - or all of them!
