Mackinac's classic Christmas weekend benefiting Mackinac Island's Churches and Mackinac Island Medical Center is happening this weekend! This is a yearly tradition where  the community of year-long residents gather to celebrate the Christmas season. The Mackinac Island Community Hall is opened up for shopping, an auction and meals! All of the profits are given back to the churches and medical center.  The Christmas Tree Lighting was last night, Friday, December 6th at 5:00 PM in the center of Main Street.  There is a snowmobile raffle, too! Attendees purchase tickets to win a 2020 Yamaha Snowmobile which benefits the Mackinac Island Christmas Bazaar....

October is flying by, with the second week of October already coming to a close. It has been a beautiful fall, with sunshine and the leaves changing. October on Mackinac Island is one of my favorite times! The island slows down and there is an air of expectation, as we know there are only a few weeks left in the season. Stores start to have their end of the year sale and we are no exception! Currently, our items are on sale from 20-30% OFF at all three of the shops: Canvas and Paddle, Little Luxuries and The Artists Market....

The temperatures have dropped drastically since Labor Day, with the highs in the 60s during the day and it getting down to the low 50s / high 40s at night! We are hoping for an Indian summer.
